Kohlrabi also known as a German turnip is the perfect vegetable choice if you are looking for something a little different. It is a member of the cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower family with a mild, sweet taste and can be cooked or added as a crisp addition to a salad. Kohlrabi is also a good source of vitamin C and fiber.
The recipe below serves two. I used three larger Kohlrabi. One for the salad and then with the remainder I made Kohlrabi chips. The chips were very satisfying accompanied by a garlic, mayonnaise, dill sauce. I’ve been trying to use up the three containers of dill in my spice cabinet!
