Kale & Strawberry Smoothie

Our bodies need carbohydrates, fat and protein to function. This delicious and nutritious smoothie provides so many benefits. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, it fills the vitamin funnel to the brim; kale, too many nutrients to count, strawberries full of Vitamin C, bananas plenty of Vitamin B-6, round it off with cashews to provide protein and fat.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups fresh kale, stems removed

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/4 cup strawberries

  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk

  • 2 ice cubes

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a Nutribullet or equivalent blender along with a cube or two of ice. Process until smooth.
  • Pour equal parts into two beverage glasses and serve.
