Earlier this week I attempted to make homemade rolls and I was successful. The rolls formed the perfect base for this breakfast sandwich. The bread contained condensed milk, sugar and whole wheat flour creating a lovely texture and lightly sweet flavor.
1 chicken sausage patty
1/4 avocado, smashed
1 wheat roll – homemade is best
- Fry the egg in a metal pastry cutter until firm.
- Fry the sausage patty until brown on both sides.
- Slice the roll in half. Place two pats of butter in a saute pan and top each with the flat side of the roll. Cook until brown and toasted.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the sausage patty on first, then the egg. Salt and pepper to taste. Add the smashed avocado.
