Breakfast Sandwich on Fresh Baked Rolls

Earlier this week I attempted to make homemade rolls and I was successful. The rolls formed the perfect base for this breakfast sandwich. The bread contained condensed milk, sugar and whole wheat flour creating a lovely texture and lightly sweet flavor.


  • 1 egg

  • 1 chicken sausage patty

  • 1/4 avocado, smashed

  • 1 wheat roll – homemade is best


  • Fry the egg in a metal pastry cutter until firm.
  • Fry the sausage patty until brown on both sides.
  • Slice the roll in half. Place two pats of butter in a saute pan and top each with the flat side of the roll. Cook until brown and toasted.
  • Assemble the sandwich by placing the sausage patty on first, then the egg. Salt and pepper to taste. Add the smashed avocado.
