This salad uses two varieties of radishes; the traditional red radishes found in most grocery stores and the Daikon radish. Radishes have a spicy tang to them so I add avocado and a baby kale, green leaf lettuce mixture. This salad is served with an apple cider vinaigrette dressing sweetened with sugar.
|6||Red radishes, sliced in wedges|
|1/3 cup||Daikon radish, thinly sliced|
|2 cups||Salad greens|
|2 tablespoons||Olive oil|
|1 tablespoon||Apple cider vinegar|
- Place the salad greens in a bowl, drizzle on 1 tablespoon olive oil and toss with a sprinkle of salt.
- Mix the other tablespoon of olive oil with the apple cider vinegar, water and sugar.
- Slice the radishes and avocado and add to salad.
- Coat with salad dressing.
